Phil Guikema – If Christ Be Not Raised
Phil Guikema examines the six negative arguments that Paul uses in 1 Corinthians 15:12-20 to defend the veracity of the resurrection. If Christ be not risen:
- v 14: We have no reason to preach
- v 14: Our faith is vain
- v 15: We would be deceivers
- v 17: Our faith is futile, we are still in our sins
- v 18: Those who have “fallen asleep in Christ” have perished
- v 19: We are most pitiable
